Chartered Project Manager

Job purpose

An excellent opportunity for an MRICS Chartered or Senior PM to work as part of the Birmingham development and project consultancy team, providing high calibre project management services to high end commercial clients. Primary role is to service current workload, including investor led refurbishment and added-value schemes across commercial office, residential, retail and industrial asset classes. This is an excellent opportunity for a project manager or for someone looking to make the step up to senior level.

Key accountabilities

Primarily working within the commercial sector, undertaking:

  1. Project management services on office, retail, residential (and other) refurbishment, fit-out and new build schemes typically ranging from £0.5m to £20m
  2. Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent Role
  3. Enhance TFT’s service offering for project delivery
  4. Good working knowledge of key JCT contracts, including experience in contractual issues such as extension of time, loss and expense claims
  5. Building business relationships to support strategic growth objectives

Performance criteria

  1. MRICS/APM qualified from a Building Surveying or technical background, would be desirable
  2. Strong relevant track record
  3. Ability to meet and exceed fee targets
  4. Building on existing client relationships with positive outcomes
  5. Ability to generate ideas for new services and targets

  7. proposals stages of the design.
  8. Commercially driven
  9. Comfortable dealing directly with clients, contractors and consultant teams
  10. Must be a positive team player but able to work independently
