Planned Maintenance Programmes & Audits
Regular surveys should play a key part in a planned maintenance programme. It is generally recommended that a major planned maintenance survey is carried out every four or five years with regular smaller checks in between.
Whereas a condition survey may focus on the repair of damage already caused by neglect or time, a planned maintenance programme will focus on the areas that require small repair works that will prevent larger problems in the future.
It is also essential to ensure fire risk and access audits are carried out on a regular basis to satify compliance regulations.
