| TFT cultural heritage – strategic planning, regeneration and conservation
The world’s cultural heritage assets are broad and diverse - city streets, towns and villages; World Heritage Sites and conservation areas; individual buildings, archaeological sites and landed estates; parklands and landscapes of outstanding interest.
Such spaces and places are our legacy from the past, but they must work to survive. It is vital that we use our cultural heritage responsibly to the greatest benefit for today and tomorrow. That challenge is our business.
Sustainable conservation is all about the proper management of use and change in and around cultural heritage assets. For over 25 years, TFT cultural heritage has promoted management strategies devised to enhance the contribution that historic places and cultural landscapes make within their modern context, recognising and respecting their overall value and significance to society.
Equally, we seek to foster new developments that will integrate with, and enrich historic settings so that our towns and cities remain vital and vibrant.
