Senior Monitoring Surveyor

An excellent opportunity to play a key part in the existing Monitoring team through delivery of instructions, nurturing of existing high-level client base and introduction of new clients and opportunities.

Key accountabilities and deliverables

  1. Lender Monitoring: independent delivery to key clients
  2. Technical Due Diligence
  3. Initial and Progress Report writing
  4. Financial analysis
  5. Achieving performance targets (fee delivery and business development)

Performance criteria

  1. Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying
  2. MRICS with ideally a minimum 5 years in a monitoring role
  3. Personable and confident
  4. Good level of experience in (and ideally specialising in) Project Monitoring for lenders
  5. Good understanding of development and funding process
  6. Good technical knowledge and experience in construction projects
  7. Excellent Excel skills
  8. Excellent report writing skills (concise, clear, grammatically correct)
  9. Ability to manage multiple live jobs
  10. Existing lender contact base with potential to generate new work and introductions
