Chris is an Associate Director and M&E engineer at TFT, operating within the Engineering and Sustainability hub. He has 15 years building services experience covering project works, TDD and M&E professional services. Chris’s experience within the building services industry includes commercial, residential, industrial and leisure buildings. His role involves working closely with clients to find the best means of taking on challenging issues such as carbon reduction and the provision of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Chris is also lead on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) surveying for individual buildings and across complex sites. A recent example of this work on a school in surrey involved 48 buildings ranging from education, sports, leisure and residential. The surveys provide an overview of existing M&E services installed, their condition including non-compliance issues and a short, medium and long term cost plan. This greatly aids our clients in preparing for anticipated future works and allows them to put an effective strategy in place for the future.

Hello.

I’m a big sports fan and used to be a keen Sunday league footballer, injury has put paid to that but that doesn’t stop me telling the professionals on TV what they should be doing!

I have a young family which takes up a lot of my spare time (wouldn’t have it any other way). We are keen walkers in the family so often end up spending our weekends finding new places to explore. Not having too much spare time can be stressful at times but arriving home after a hard day and seeing a little smiling face seems to make all the stresses disappear.
