Mark Day

Mark heads up the M&E Professional services line for TFT and also has extensive knowledge and experience in the completion of Technical Due Diligence (TDD) surveys for commercial, industrial and larger domestic properties across the UK and in Europe. TDD surveys undertaken at TFT have ranged between single office buildings to portfolios of different types of buildings that are located all around the UK. These surveys have previously included a large private estate in the centre of Birmingham that is served by a private high voltage electrical supply system with combined heat and power systems (CHP) and district heating systems to serve approximately 3,500 flats and apartments.

Mark has also substantial experience in the compilation of M&E Dilapidation schedules and in the subsequent negotiations process. Once the dilapidations schedules have been finalised Mark undertakes the project management role to ensure the associated rectification and remedial works are fully completed to return the property to the original configuration.

As part of the M&E Maintenance Management service Mark undertakes all aspects of the formal tender process for M&E maintenance contracts from start to finish including the compilation of bespoke asset registers and contract specification documents and all aspects of the formal tender analysis process.

Hello!

Away from work I enjoy being outdoors, particularly partaking in sea kayaking and fishing. I’m also a keen cyclist and runner, taking on challenges such as The Grizzly, and of course, running and volunteering at Parkrun on a Saturday morning. Otherwise, I spend time doing house refurbishment works and creating wooden structures for many different uses!

Below is a picture of myself and my colleagues Simon and Vanessa on our fundraiser in 2019 for a local Bristol MS therapy centre, The Brightwell, where we walked and cycled our way from Bristol to Swindon!
