Daniel is a partner and heads the Built Asset Hub team in the London office. His areas of expertise include high-value and complex dilapidations claims, contract administration/project management of complex refurbishment and new-build projects, and technical due diligence (development/fund monitoring and building surveys). He works across retail, office and industrial sectors, and has advised on a range of project types and value. Daniel is a member of the RICS Dilapidations Forum and organised the RICS Building Surveying Conference for many years previously. Daniel’s key clients include Legal and General, Aberdeen Standard, Aviva, and M&G.
I believe my passion for building and construction was a result of playing with too much LEGO as a child. I still get the same buzz seeing a completed project when it was either dilapidated or just a vacant site to start with. As with all building surveyors, it also makes family car trips more interesting by pointing out all the buildings I have worked on… and people say we are boring!
Outside of work, I live in Kent with my wife and daughter, and much of my spare time now revolves around her social activities. When I do have time to myself, I enjoy mountain biking and have a passion for fast cars.
