TFT was instructed to provide a vendor survey to prepare the property for sale. This included updating the previous pre-acquisition survey report produced at purchase and reviewing the vendor survey report draft with the client and their agents. This determined where further investigation and fault diagnosis needed to be undertaken to the extent and severity of any defects. This meant that we were able to provide more accurate rectification costs and certainty for both vendor and potential purchaser.
TFT managed and advised on the appointment of specialist third party consultants who were tasked with providing structural engineering assessments, testing of structure, leak tracing and cladding investigations.
This comprehensive approach provided a vendor pack that ensured the potential purchasers had access to a full defect investigation report in order to make an informed decision and help speed up the transaction process.
