The Broadgate Estate


We were appointed to provide pre-acquisition technical due diligence for GIC’s reported £1.7 billion purchase of a 50% stake of Broadgate Estate, the 30-acre office and retail complex at the heart of the City of London.

At 4,700,000sq ft, the Estate comprises 6% of the total City of London office space, including 120 occupiers within 15 world-class buildings and 300,000sq ft of retail and leisure space. The Broadgate transaction included a 50% interest in 5 Broadgate, a new 710,000sq ft office building, which was pre-let in its entirety to the Swiss bank UBS.
