M&G Real Estate and Capital Shopping Centres
Since our project monitoring of the original scheme in 1998 we have had ongoing role in the continued adaptation and redevelopment of this 66,000m² regional shopping centre.
The owners have called upon our project consultancy to co-ordinate a number of initiatives to maximise lettable space and meet the ever-changing requirements of retail and food tenants and their customers. Examples include mining beneath one part of the building to create an undercroft and extending some units to above roof level. M+G and Capital Shopping Centres have also involved us in amalgamating and extending existing units and refurbishing the public realm and food court areas.
Perhaps less glitzy, but nonetheless essential to keeping the Mall in prime condition, we also have an ongoing role in the planning and execution of building fabric maintenance and monitoring tenant fit-outs.
